Knoxbrooke "couldn't be happier" the Mawarra building will be the new home of Scope.
Chief executive officer Annie Revell said she was delighted Scope had purchased the Percy St building in Warragul.
"It begins a new chapter for this much loved premises," Ms Revell said.
Built by Mawarra in 1959 and acquired in a merger with Knoxbrooke in 2019, Ms Revell said "we couldn't be happier that this is happening."
Confirming Knoxbrooke would vacate the premises in late August, she said the organisation announced in March it was moving to a more contemporary way of offering services with a new "living, learning and leisure" model. Still utilising sites in Albert St and George St, Ms Revell said clients would join small groups in-home or in the community rather than operating out of a day centre.
"Sitting idle is not what that centre deserves," she said of the decision to put Percy St on the market.
She said the changes would be gradual for clients as "we know change can be really unsettling."
Knoxbrooke supports almost 50 clients as well as supporting employees at two coffee shops at West Gippsland Arts Centre and Warragul Community Aged Care, Knoxbrooke Garden Service and Knoxbrooke Vintage Vibes opportunity shop, all in Warragul.
