A jacket containing a wallet was stolen during a residential burglary in Warragul last week.
The burglary was reported in Royston Ave between 6pm on Tuesday and noon on Wednesday.
Police said a laundry door was broken off its hinges to gain entry.
Muddy footprints were found throughout the house, rooms were rummaged through and a jacket containing a wallet were reported missing.
A bank card from the wallet was later used at Premix King in Drouin.
