Hillview Bunyip Aged Care is seeking to recruit new members for its board of management following resignations and retirements at last year's annual general meeting.
Hillview has a 30-year history as a proud not for profit aged care provider and extends an invitation to the wider local community for dedicated volunteers to become board members.
The current board meets on the last Tuesday of each month for about two hours. Board members are encouraged to be part of sub-committees, which include finance, medical advisory, risk and audit, building programs and strategic plan review.
Anyone with experience on boards of management, the aged care industry, not for profit community organisations, corporate governance, legal or accounting profession, or local community involvement are encouraged to apply. Alternatively, you may have valued skills in other areas.
If you believe you have the time, energy, experience and expertise to commit to Hillview, register your interest to attend an information evening on Tuesday, February 20 at 7pm in the Eileen Dawes Activity Centre at Hillview.
The information evening will allow people to meet with current board members, learn about Hillview Bunyip Aged care, and hear about the commitment of being a board member.
RSVP to Hillview Bunyip Aged Care on 5629 6096 by Monday, February 19.
