Proposals to build battery energy storage systems on farmland at Shady Creek and Yarragon are raising community concerns.
A public meeting was held at Shady Creek last night (Monday) and a community petition has been launched by local residents concerned the two projects could result in loss of farmland, property devaluations, noise and elevated fire risk.
