The introduction of a "transparency hub" in Baw Baw Shire is expected in the next six to 12 months.
However, open councillor briefing sessions - one of 10 options identified in a "Transparency Discussion Paper" - will not occur.
Building on a desire for increased transparency, the discussion paper was a project initiated by East Gippsland Shire with support of three Gippsland councils, including Baw Baw, South Gippsland and Latrobe.
