Increasing car thefts targeted

Two teenagers were arrested after running from a stolen utility on the Princes Fwy at Warragul last Tuesday morning.
The arrests follow Crime Stoppers Victoria and Victoria Police combining to launch a new campaign to combat a rise in car theft crimes.
Local police reported the pair was arrested at about 10.30am after the air wing unit followed a stolen utility through the Baw Baw and Bass Coast areas.
Reported stolen from Traralgon, police observed the white Toyota Hilux utility on South Gippsland Hwy.
