A community petition calling for an LGBTIQA+ advisory committee to be established has failed to gain Baw Baw Shire support.
Councillors voted six-one to receive the petition but did not call for an officer report on the matter.
It is common practice for reports to be sought on matters arising from community petitions.

Crs Adam Sheehan and Kate Wilson questioned if a specific advisory committe
