Climate change discussion in Yarragon

Baw Baw Sustainability Network will host a night with Andrea Klindworth on June 26 - "Climate Change: Local Impact, Global Challenge."
Andrea is a dedicated community leader with a strong focus on sustainability and youth development.
She enjoyed a varied career working in education, organisational change and environmental sustainability.
Before moving to Yarragon in 2000 to take on new challenges in Gippsland, Andrea taught in secondary schools, supporting teachers through major curriculum changes and training teachers. Following the move, Andrea worked with local councils, businesses and community groups to enable people to live more lightly on our special planet.
Andrea has been a member of the Baw Baw Sustainability Network since 2009 and has served on the Baw Baw Shire Council Environment Community Consultative Committee and the Gippsland Climate Change Network.
She is a member of Warragul Rotary Club and over the years has provided leadership for the club's environmental, youth and vocational initiatives. Andrea also contributes to Rotary International through membership of the Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group.
Her commitment to community service and environmental sustainability underscores her dedication to creating a positive impact in her local area.
In her talk Andrea will share what climate change means for her and actions that may be taken to fight climate change.
The evening will be held at the Uniting Church Hall, Yarragon from 7pm.
