Two girls were arrested after police located a stolen car in Drouin on Tuesday morning.
Police said a black Ford Ranger, valued at $45,000, was reported stolen from Warragul at about 3.45am. It had been parked in the driveway of a Hallyburton Grove residence.
The vehicle was seen in Old Sale Rd near Main Neerim Rd at Drouin West before being reported in Lyndhurst Square, Drouin at about 4.30am.
Searching the area, police located two girls, a 16-year-old and 14-year-old, both from the Baw Baw area.
The 16-year-old has been charged and bailed to appear at Children's Court and the 14-year-old received a caution.
It is believed two other occupants fled police. Investigations continue.
