The Ellinbank Farmers and Producers' Market will be held this Saturday to coincide with election day.
The local small rural farmers' market was initiated by the Ellinbank Badminton Club as a community outreach program following COVID.
It is usually held on the fifth Saturdays of the months throughout the year, with the next due on May 31. However, the next market has been brought forward to election day, to be held on May 3 from 8.30am to 1pm.
Community members can skip the long queues and vote at Ellinbank Primary School where they can buy a sausage from the school's barbecue and check out the baking stall then head over to the public hall for the market.
The Darnum Ellinbank fire brigade will be on hand to assist you with getting your homes ready to heat and the badminton club will run its mega firewood raffle.
DJ Brengun will provide music while community members browse the many local stalls of crafts and wares.
