Gippsland United has taken a big step towards an even bigger future after officially unveiling its redeveloped pavilion at Baxter Park last week.
Baw Baw Shire mayor Annemarie McCabe and Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing joined representatives from the club, council and community at a ribbon cutting ceremony declaring the new facility officially open.
The pavilion now includes female friendly player and official change rooms, a new club office and administration area, storage, first aid room, accessible public and spectator amenities, and baby change facilities. There's also an undercover spectator area, a new carpark and a pitch lighting upgrade, providing more opportunity for Gippsland United to use its home ground advantage at night.
