Trafalgar Public Hall committee members have pledged to keep fighting the good fight as they look to keep the hall in the hands of the people.
More than 65 community members came together at the Criterion Hotel recently for live music, raffles and entertainment to help raise funds for the hall, which has been publicly owned since 1934.
While at the beginning of 2020 the hall's financials were looking solid, the effects of COVID and the State Government's controversial land tax changes have taken their toll, leading to events like the hotel shindig.
Hall committee member Eva Moscato said "fundraising wasn't unusual for us"
