Just A Farmer is considered a must see movie and a free screening will be offered to community members in Warragul on Wednesday, October 22.

The movie is a compelling drama that authentically portrays the impact of suicide on a rural Australian family, shedding light on critical mental health issues in farming communities. The film celebrates the resilience of farmers' wives and community support amidst heartbreak.
It was the brainchild of Victorian farmer Leila McDougall who saw the need, wrote the screenplay, and decided to act in it as well to keep costs down.
The film will be shown at the West Gippsland Arts Centre. Admission is free but bookings are essential.
Traf District News has partnered with SilkRoad Community of Trafalgar to screen the movie without an admission charge. Cost of screening the movie has largely been met by Black Dog Ride and Community Bank Trafalgar and District.
Doors open at 4pm with a short introduction and a short address by member for Monash Mary Aldred. The film will begin at 4:30pm. Professional counsellors will attend to assist if the movie raises any concerns for attendees.
