From pandemic challenges to revitalised park

Taking on a new business at the height of the COVID pandemic presented plenty of challenges but the new lessees of Glen Cromie Caravan Park at Drouin West made a positive of the lockdowns in Victoria.

Mark and Mary Shattock were granted the lease of the park by Baw Baw Shire Council in September 2020, one day after further lockdowns were announced by the state government.
Instead of cursing their misfortune at the timing of the lockdowns the Shattocks looked for the positives and used the absence of visitors to undertake a number of upgrades to facilities that were part of their lease agreement with the shire.
Move forward to today and the park is thriving.
