Filmmaking ambitions pay off for Drouin graduate

Much has changed since Eric Farmer graduated from Drouin Secondary College in 2003 with ambitions to become a filmmaker.
Most recently, he worked as a production manager on James Cameron's "Avatar: The Way of Water" for New Zealand company WetaFX and also scored a small role in the film.
Eric previously appeared in The Gazette as an ambitious year 12 graduate. The article, "Local film-maker sets sights on Hollywood", outlined his goals to develop a career in the film industry.
By then Eric already had one of his short films appear at the Ian Potter Centre NGV Top Arts exhibition - a sign of his future success.


After school, Eric completed a Bachelor of Multimedia Systems at Monas
