Local musician Ethan Calway wowed the nation with his incredible vocal talent last week, successfully turning all four chairs during his blind audition on "The Voice."
Ethan closed out the episode last Tuesday night with a powerful rendition of Marc Cohn's "Walking in Memphis", ultimately joining Team Richard after coach Richard Marx used his "ultimate block" to prevent fellow coaches Kate Miller-Heidke, Melanie C and Ronan Keating from nabbing him.
Originally from Drouin and now living in Warragul, Ethan is a regular performer at pubs across Gippsland, released his debut EP "Long Road Home" in 2023, and performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2024 as a finalist in the annual Toyota Star Marker competition.
A carpenter by trade, Ethan's goal is to pursue music and songwriting
