Tears of joy were shed as news filtered through Erica on Thursday afternoon that its kindergarten had been saved.
Parent Krystal Galea said an email advising that Y Kinders had reversed its decision to close Erica Preschool was quickly shared amongst the parent group.
"I personally was so stressed that this wasn't going to happen and we'd be forgotten about by everybody," Ms Galea said.
Asked of her reaction to the news, she said "tears of joy to be honest and just a wave of relief."
Families can now enrol their children for 2025, but the kindergarten's future beyond next year is still uncertain.
Ms Galea declared they would continue to fight for long-term security, noting "we definitely will not give up."
