A group of local Indigenous young people has created a photographic exhibition as part of NAIDOC Week
Created by participants in the Deadly Mob program, the photographs on display at the West Gippsland Arts Centre represent how each participant connects with the 2025 NAIDOC Week theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy."
Formally known as the Deadly Daughters program, Deadly Mob is a local group for Aboriginal young people ran by Anglicare Victoria, Proactive Police and supported by the Baw Baw Shire.
Aboriginal youth justice support worker Tyisha Baxter said the photographic project encouraged Deadly Mob participants to connect with their culture.
