Cyber security focus of business concerns

Cyber security and better protection for consumers and businesses from online scams were the focus of a community roundtable discussion in Trafalgar hosted by Federal Liberal Candidate for Monash Mary Aldred with Shadow Minister for Cyber Security and Home Affairs, Senator James Paterson recently.
Ms Aldred brought together members of the Trafalgar Chamber of Commerce, including the Bendigo Community Bank, Home Hardware and broader organisations including health services to highlight the importance of online security.
"Lots of people across the Monash electorate are raising with me their concerns about an increase in online scams, protection of consumer data and broader cyber security issues. It was terrific to have James Paterson here as the Shadow Minister for Cyber Security to meet directly with community members," said Ms Aldred.
