Coin collection stolen

A coin collection valued at an estimated $40,000 has been reported stolen from a Warragul house.
Police reported the burglary at North Rd between 4pm on Thursday and 9am on Friday.
It is believed entry was gained via a back window, with damage discovered to a fly screen.
Police said the resident, who was not home at the time, had collected coins for decades. The collection of about 60 gold coins was estimated to be valued $40,000.

Landcruiser stolen
A car was reported stolen from Wills St, Warragul on Thursday morning.
Police said the grey 2021 Toyota Landcruiser station wagon was parked at about 8.50am.
When the owner returned at 12.10pm, it was gone.
Police believe a window may have been smashed and said all keys were accounted for.
The vehicle, with registration plates "BRB 232", is yet to be recovered.
