The Victorian Electoral Commission is urging people to check the electorates in which they are enrolled for next month's state election.
New electoral boundaries will come into force from November 1.
In the lower house electorate of Narracan the major change has been the transfer of the Moe area (some 7400 electors) to the Morwell electorate.
According to a VEC report on the boundary changes Narracan will pick up a small number of voters from Bass (30) and east of Gembrook (2).
Population growth within the existing Narracan boundary since the previous redistribution in 2013 will maintain it in the general 45,000 to 50,000 range for the number of voters for each of the state's lower house seats.
The VEC said on on current figures 47,589 people are enrolled in Narracan.
The upper house Eastern Victoria region, which will elect five members to parliament, has had 9271 voters transferred to it from the Eastern Metropolitan and South-east Metropolitan regions.
Total enrolment in Eastern Victoria, that also takes in all of Gippsland, is expected to be in excess of 529,500.
Electoral commissioner Warwick Gately said the register of electors had been updated to account for the boundary changes and people can check whether they are affected by the changes at vec.vic.gov.au/enrolment/check-my-enrolment
A comparison of new and old boundaries can be viewed at maps.ebc.vic.gov.au
The state election will be held on November 26.
