An alarm halted an attempted theft at a Drouin car wash on Tuesday, November 5.
Police reported the incident occurred at Magic Car Wash in Princes Way at 2.10am.
They said it appeared a lock on a coin dispenser was cut using bolt cutters which triggered an alarm.
A silver or grey ute with stolen registration plates, "BKM 247", was captured on CCTV.
