Car stolen in Yarragon

A car was stolen from the front of a Yarragon house in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police said a silver 2002 Toyota Avalon sedan was reported stolen from the Princes Hwy residence between 12.30am and 1.30am.
The car, with registration "RYJ 530", has not yet been located.
Police believe the theft is related to a series of thefts from vehicles across Yarragon that night.
A large tool box fixed to a ute was broken into on Cyprus Cres at 1.30am.
It is believed padlocks were cut to gain access, with multiple cordless power tools, hand tools and electric testing devices stolen.
An old pink Apple iPod and black jacket were stolen from a red Mitsubishi Outlander parked in adjoining Linnea Drv.
The theft occurred between 11pm on Saturday and 10.30am on Sunday.
A handbag was stolen after a car window was smashed in Winston St.
Police said marks on the door frame indicate a jimmy or screwdriver was used to break the driver side window of a white Hyundai Tucson. The Rip Curl handbag was valued at $100.
A white Mini Coupe at the same property was also targeted, with CDs reported missing.
Police said CCTV from the area captures a man walking up and down driveways and trying to open car doors.
