Call for more housing to end homelessness

There is no finishing line for the work that needs to be done to address homelessness, according to Victorian Housing Minister Harriet Shing.
Ms Shing joined Member for Narracan Wayne Farnham and shadow housing minister Richard Riordan at the Gippsland Homelessness Network's Homelessness Week event on Friday.
The event was one of many across the state where the creation of 60,000 origami houses set out to highlight the scale of Victoria's homelessness crisis.
Mr Farnham called on all levels of government to do more to address regional homelessness, saying it was incumbent on all community leaders to find solutions and innovate to reduce homelessness.
