A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Trafalgar East is the latest proposal to invade West Gippsland's farming community.
A 20 hectare site has been earmarked by German based company ib vogt to develop a 360MW BESS.
It is the latest in a trend for West Gippsland farming properties with two proposals on the table at Yarragon North and Shady Creek, and another at Bunyip North in Cardinia Shire.
