Gippsland women face excessively high rates of family violence, alarming rates of sexual offences and double the state average of stalking, according to a Gippsland Women's Health report.
In addition, only 35 per cent of women were in full-time employment and 25 per cent earn above the minimum wage across Gippsland.
The snapshot, released by Gippsland Women's Health (GWH) in its first annual "report card", aimed to provide an in-depth look at women's health and safety in Gippsland.
