A man was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital after a weed spray trailer rolled on him at a Shady Creek property last Tuesday.
The 78-year-old man was airlifted from the Araluen Rd property with chest injuries and breathing difficulties.
Police said the man was working on the property with a farm manager when the accident occurred at about 8.45am.
The two men attached a weed spray unit to the back of a tractor to spray blackberries.
Police said as the tractor moved up a hill, the trailer detached from the tractor.
It is believed the man, who police said was on the back of the trailer spraying weeds, fell off, was pinned under the trailer and pushed down the hill by the weight of the trailer before the trailer rolled over him.
Police said WorkSafe was investigating the accident.
