$14.5 million windfall - new library a step closer

by Emma Ballingall
The new library and learning centre proposed for Warragul has secured $14.5 million in the federal budget.

Following a 12-month community advocacy campaign, the Baw Baw Culture and Connection Precinct was listed amongst the successful grant recipients in round one of the Growing Regions Program released on Thursday.
The stage one works, which Baw Baw Shire estimate will cost $35 million, features a three-storey facility on vacant land on the corner of Civic Pl and Albert St.
