A display of past and present band uniforms is one of the many featured in the "From The Beginning A Walk Through Time" exhibition.

Exploring the Warragul Municipal Band exhibition at the Bruce Armstrong Band Room are Alice Weatherall, Julia Curl and Lindsay Snell.
Take a walk through time and learn all about the 140 year history of the Warragul Municipal Band at a special exhibition in the Bruce Armstrong Band Room this month.
Titled "From The Beginning – A Walk Through Time", the exhibition is a major part of the Warragul Municipal Band's 140th anniversary year celebrations this year.
The Bruce Armstrong Band Room has been transformed into a living exhibition where visitors can walk and wind their way through 140 years of history, heritage, and legacy.
Visitors can enjoy the Bruce Armstrong collection, a snapshot of Warragul from the 1880s, the band's connection with ANZAC and the 52nd Battalion, photos and trophies galore, a display of uniforms past and present, life members and band masters, acknowledgement of the band's strategic endeavours and their community partners, and the pièce de résistance, the oral histories of past and present banding family.
The exhibition will be open on Fridays from 5pm to 7pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 4pm until Sunday, November 9.
A final viewing opportunity will take place from 3:30pm until 6:30pm on the afternoon of the 140th Anniversary Year Celebrations Concert on Saturday, November 15.
Opening times may be subject to last minute or unavoidable changes so visitors are encouraged to check the band's website or Facebook page for confirmation details during October and November.
For more up to date information, stay tuned and follow the band through Facebook and the website.
Tickets for the 140th Anniversary Year Celebrations Concert on Saturday November 15 are available to purchase on the West Gippsland Arts Centre website.
