Paddock pioneers - women in dairy lunch
1 min read

Women representing Gippsland's dairy industry will come together to hear from trailblazing women from across agriculture at the 2025 Women in Dairy Gippsland Ladies Lunch.
The annual event, now in its fourth year, will be held on November 14 at the All Occasions Wedding and Function Centre in Traralgon, with festivities kicking off at 10am.
The theme for this year's lunch is Trailblazers in gumboots: Women who drive change.
Women in Dairy working committee founder and Poowong North farmer Allison Potter will host a panel of pioneering women in agriculture, including Australian Livestock and Property Agents southern young auctioneer finalist Carley Einseidel, senior research scientist at Ellinbank Smart Farm Anna Thompson, and founder and head veterinarian of Veterinary Support Services Becky Dickinson.
GippsDairy's regional manager Karen McLennan said the lunch was an opportunity for women in dairy to get together and hear from some incredible women driving change in agriculture.
"It has been a challenging season for many farmers, with drier conditions across much of Gippsland, and this event is a chance to unwind and reconnect with fellow dairy women," Karen said.
"The lunch is also a fantastic opportunity to come together to network, share ideas, and learn from other inspiring women that are leading the way in agriculture."
Tickets are free for dairy farmers, and $50 for service providers – available on the Dairy Australia Gippsland website.
