After a long period of development and construction, Drouin Primary School's new buildings and basketball stadium are open and in use by the school community.
From receiving almost $22.1 million for the upgrade and modernisation project in the 2021–22 state budget, to the official start of construction in February 2024, acting principal Christie Bransgrove and assistant principal Deb Fusinato said the new buildings had been "a long time coming".
Staff and students moved into the new buildings in the last week of term two.
