Students from St Paul's Anglican Grammar School recently presented handmade gifts to children at St Paul's kindergarten.
The year 11 students had worked hard and meticulously to make cushions, extra cushion slips and a playmat for the kindergarten.
The students' motivation for the kind gesture was to pass on inspiration from one generation to another to share ideas and consider new interests. As they engaged with the kinder children, the year 11 students discussed how they had made the items and how much they loved textiles – inspiring the younger children to pursue an interest in sewing and crafting in the future.
The kinder children thought the presents were great and enjoyed the visit immensely.
