Ellinbank Primary School values CARE

Ellinbank Primary School recently brought together families to celebrate and officially launch the re-development of its school values.
The initiative emphasised the importance of student input, as students were actively consulted throughout the process, ensuring they have full ownership of the values and associated behaviours.
In line with the school's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, the values were presented in a visual format, with icons chosen by the students themselves.
The school places great importance on strengthening the connection between home and school, and the launch day provided students with the opportunity to explain the newly developed values to their families.
Each family received a showbag containing a bag tag featuring the values for each student.
The core school values are CARE: Community, Acceptance, Respect, and Effort.
To further highlight the values, families, staff, and students created a values promise poster, marking their commitment by placing their handprints on the value of "respect" which is the focus for this term.
