Neerim District Rural Primary School needs a minimum of 11 local student enrolments before July 26 to become operational for the 2025 school year.
This was revealed at a community drop-in session between the Education Department and local community members last Tuesday.
Led by South Eastern Victoria regional director Ian Burrage, the drop-in session allowed community members to ask questions about the school's future.
Neerim District Rural Primary School has been non-operational and de-staffed since 2020 due to low student enrolment levels, but is not officially closed.
