TAFE Gippsland recently hosted its inaugural Education Awards to recognise the achievements, dedication and passion of students, trainers and industry partners.
The awards night, held in Sale, included a number of vibrant performers including Karina Flow dazzling with LED artistry and fire twirling, Becky Bubble and Mr Marmalade adding a touch of magic and comedian Dave O'Neil.
Among the West Gippsland students to receive awards were:
Vocational student of the year awards (health) – Charlee Jinnette of Warragul.
Apprentice of the year awards: electrotechnology – Darcy Paul of Hill End; and light vehicle mechanical technology – Michael Franghis of Warragul (absent).
