It's not often that years five and six students can go home and tell their families they met a former NBL and NBA player, but that's exactly what students from St Paul's Anglican Grammar School were able to do.
Speaking to both year five and year six students, Chris Anstey spoke about how their behaviour and actions can impact their lives without them realising it in the moment.
He also told them that students should be leaders who care, and to "invest in each other's success" so that everyone can achieve and accomplish their goals.
The students were excited to ask Mr Anstey questions about his sports career, both as a player in the most elite tier of basketball, where he has played alongside some of the sport's most notable players, and as a coach.
With 33 years of basketball knowledge behind him, Mr Anstey was willing to answer any questions the students had, providing them with anecdotes, metaphors and practical scenarios both in and out of the sporting world.
Next time the years five or six students find themselves in some doubt, they'll have the messages from Mr Anstey to remind them that if there is a one in a million chance of success, then it must be possible after all.
