It's official: Drouin football and netball clubs aren't going anywhere.
The Hawks will remain in the Gippsland League for season 2026 after the league's appeal over the clubs' attempted transfer to the West Gippsland Football Netball Competition was upheld by AFL Gippsland.
Drouin's move was previously approved by member clubs of the WGFNC. The Gippsland League appealed the transfer application, leaving it up to AFL Gippsland's Region Council to consider submissions and make the final decision.
