Stepping into the world of wearable art

Warragul-based artist Michelle J. Kowalczyk will travel to the Sunshine Coast next month to make her debut at the Australian Wearable Art Festival (AWAF).
From turning in her submission brief the day it was due, to being named a finalist in the fifth AWAF event, Michelle is excited to channel her love of art and passion for sustainability and the LGBTQIA+ community into a beautiful and intricate piece of wearable art.
The AWAF will be held at Venue 114 on the Sunshine Coast from Friday, August 8 and Saturday August 7.
