The Victorian State Ballet will bring the world-famous classical ballet "Don Quixote" to the West Gippsland Arts Centre stage on Sunday March 30.

With an exquisite cast of internationally recognised artists, "Don Quixote" will bring to the stage superb ballet skill, choreography, and re-staging by Victorian State Ballet's director Michelle Sierra, based on the traditional choreography of Marius Petipa.
The romantic story is retold through charming sets and lavish costumes, superb classical ballet technique, and choreography which honours the spirit of this great classical work.
The Victorian State Ballet's production of "Don Quixote" is a spectacular rendition of this most festive, flamboyant, and exciting of ballets.
Audiences will be wowed by unforgettable performances, including the famous Grand pas de Deux in act three, featuring Kitri's 32 virtuoso fouettés and Basilios' spectacular solo and coda.
"Don Quixote's" fiery passion and spectacular musical score will have audiences on the edge of their seats from beginning to end.
The Victorian State Ballet will perform "Don Quixote" at the West Gippsland Arts Centre on Sunday March 30 from 2:30pm.
The show will run for two hours including intermission.
