Local musicians at Wesley

Although more often seen as the place to go for chamber music and touring artists, Wesley of Warragul also is developing itself as a stage for local and regional performers across a wide spectrum of music styles.
On Saturday (May 31), audiences will have an opportunity to enjoy a concert of Irish and Celtic music by Gippsland band Mollimór.
Mollimór blend Irish and Celtic traditional and original tunes and songs with edgy, jazzy or mellow rhythms to produce a unique and varied repertoire. Lyrical slow tunes alternate with driving rhythms, songs merge with tunes - it's a melting pot sure to have audience members tapping their feet and clapping along.
The members of Mollimór offer instrumental firepower from fiddle, accordion and flute, backed by gutsy rhythms on guitar, bouzouki, bass and djembe. They all take pleasure in arranging music to showcase the skills of band members and create a great listening.
They had the honour of performing at the world's biggest Irish music festival, Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann held in Mullingar Ireland in 2022 and the audience can be assured of a great night when they bring the 'festival' vibe to Wesley.
Tickets can be booked in advance through Humanitix (https://collections.humanitix.com/wesley-of-warragul-20th-anniversary-season-2025) and any remaining on the day can be purchase at the door.
The concert is at Wesley of Warragul, 64 Victoria St on Saturday May 31 and begins at 7:30pm
