Commencing on Friday December 15, the West Gippsland Arts Centre will host four "Forecour Fridays" live music events.
An exciting live music initiative has recently been announced by the West Gippsland Arts Centre.
"Forecourt Fridays" is a free, family-friendly live music event set to showcase Gippsland's incredible musical talent on four Friday nights from December to March.
Commencing this Friday December 15, Forecourt Fridays will feature two local musical acts from a wide variety of genres. Whether you love soulful country sounds, or grungy punk rock, there will be something for everyone.
Aiming to inspire the next generation of musicians, and strengthen the bond of the local community, the arts centre invites everyone to come along to the event, especially those who have never experienced an event at the venue.
Some of the local talents set to feature on the Forecourt Fridays stage include Harry Hook, Ally Row, Todd Cook and the Rufus Whistlers, Cheapskate and more.
Musicians will perform outside in the arts centre forecourt between 6pm and 9pm. Audience members are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, chairs and their own dinner to eat during the show. Coffee Vibes by Knoxbrooke will have burritos available to pre-order, with all profits going towards supporting their disability support staff and businesses. The arts centre bar will be open during the event, BYO alcohol is not permitted.
