Dave Lamb will be rocking a truly authentic 80s hairstyle when he fills Adam Sandler's famous role of "Robbie Hart".
A graduate of WAAPA's acting course, Dave has been part of several Warragul Theatre Company productions. Audiences may recall him wearing a dress as Lord Fancourt Babberly in "Charley's Aunt" in 2023 or not wearing a dress as Jean Valjean in "Les Misérables" in 2022.
Dave spent most of his professional acting life with a focus on Shakespeare. He taught and acted with Bell Shakespeare, Complete Works Theatre, Australian Shakespeare Company and Essential Theatre's Shakespeare in the Vines.
He has also appeared in a small assortment of television and film projects. However, his most viewed work is a YouTube video where he pretends to be a muppet; such is life.
Dave now sells wine, which suits his temperament well.
Like his character, Dave has always wanted to be a rock star.
The audience will soon see if he can match the energy of an 80s mullet and be the rock star of his dreams.
